 GENERAL INFORMATION: Easley Trucks is a trucking company by nature and it is our objective to place customer freight on our own equipment. However, our freight brokerage exists to allow flexibility and greater depth for our customers. Therefore, only excess and/or seasonal freight is offered to other reputable carriers for brokerage.

 PROFILE: Currently, We specialize in Reefer, Dryvan, Hopper, and Livebottom shipments. These transports are associated with interstate, as well as intrastate Texas shipments. The majority of our freight is related to peanuts, peanut related products, and grocery commodities.

 Easley Trucks was established in 1928 by the late Mr. A. 0. Easley. We are currently owned and operated under family contingencies and conduct business with a long history of honesty, integrity, and respect.

 PAYMENT FOR SERVICES: Because, we are a carrier, we realize the importance of turning over receivables. As we also have been subjected to "Fly By Night" brokers that were "Slow Pay Or No Pay".

 Since we have conducted business with our customers for decades, we are able to pay our carrier agents within one to four weeks of invoice. (certain conditions need apply)

 RATE DETERMINATION: Deregulation is more prevalent than ever, and therefore: subject to supply and demand factors, customer wants, specific traffic lanes, carrier performance, and the logistics of the shipments themselves. Never the less, we will not ask carriers to transport shipments at INSULTINGLY low rates per mile, as many brokers will. In addition, our program includes additional accessorial payments for lumper, stopping in transit, reconsignment, and more.
